Important Guidelines for International Expansion

The Next Phase of ACN’s International Expansion - Czech Republic and Hungary

ACN is excited to announce the next phase of our international expansion to the Czech Republic and Hungary. We are committed to ensuring this launch is a success – and you can do your part to help make that possible!

ACN will begin a pre-launch period starting in late March, prior to the launch of services in these markets. During the pre-launch time, Representatives will be able to complete an Independent Representative Agreement and join the ACN business opportunity. Below are some important guidelines to follow in these markets prior to the pre-launch period. These guidelines are designed to protect ACN and our Independent Representatives; therefore, violating any of the guidelines below is a direct violation of ACN’s Policies and Procedures.

The Role of Existing ACN Representatives:

  • Existing ACN Representatives are permitted to host small, in-person meetings (up to 5 people) with their contacts in the Czech Republic and Hungary, regardless of the meeting location.
  • Existing ACN Representatives can host small Webinars and conference calls (up to 25 people) with individuals who have previously attended a small, in-person meeting. The purpose of such Webinars and calls is to keep interested individuals up-to-date on ACN’s expansion.
  • In-person meetings, Webinars and conference calls must only focus on ACN’s business in the 21 countries in which it currently operates or serve to relay information about the Czech Republic or Hungary that was provided by ACN’s corporate offices in writing.
  • The presenters of all in-person meetings, Webinars and conference calls must currently be ACN Independent Representatives. Individuals residing in the Czech Republic or Hungary are strictly prohibited from doing any presentations of any form.
  • Prior to the start of the pre-launch period, Representatives cannot request someone sign any type of agreement or make any commitment that the prospective person will join ACN in their group or under a certain group. Further, residents of the Czech Republic and Hungary are unable to join as a Representative in another country in which ACN operates prior to the pre-launch period. ACN encourages Representatives to be sponsored by the person who introduced them to ACN; however, each new Independent Representative will be free to choose their sponsor at the time they join ACN.
  • Representatives should only describe the ACN Opportunity and should not, in any way, promote that someone should join their team rather than another group of ACN Representatives. Such action is deemed to be a form of crossline recruiting and will result in disciplinary action up to and including deactivation.

Marketing Guidelines Prior to Pre-Launch:

  • Prior to the pre-launch period, there can be no public meetings or cold market recruiting of Representatives and absolutely no advertising in any form, including websites or postings on social networking sites.
  • No Representative-prepared materials, including websites of any kind, can be used to promote ACN in these markets. Only ACN-prepared materials can be used to describe the ACN Opportunity in the markets where we currently operate. It is the responsibility of the presenter to make it clear that ACN’s home-based business opportunity and products and services offering may be different in these markets.
  • No email blasts can be sent to promote ACN or an upcoming presentation. Representatives may only send emails to those who have attended an in-person meeting.
  • ACN Representatives may not discuss the income that they or other ACN Representatives are earning, nor make any claims in terms of the income that a Representative in the Czech Republic or Hungary could potentially earn. Representatives may show Success from Home magazine, ACN’s Opportunity Dual Disc or ACN’s websites to present testimonials of ACN Representatives; however these materials may not be distributed to potential Representatives.
  • Representatives cannot make or imply any offers of additional income or any other incentive, monetary or otherwise, if someone in these markets agrees to join their team. In addition, Representatives should not make any commitment to add additional Representatives to the prospect’s downline or make promises that they will help the person achieve a certain position.

Products and Services Offerings:

  • The decision on the products and services, as well as the timing of launching those services, has not yet been finalised, therefore there can be no commitment made as to when ACN will be offering products or services in these markets. ACN is currently planning to offer Digital Phone Service, Fixed Line Phone Service and Mobile Phone Service either at launch or within 3 to 6 months of the pre-launch. No other commitments or statements should be made about products or services that will be available in the Czech Republic or Hungary.
  • In addition, since products and services have not been finalised, ACN has not prepared the Compensation Plan for the Czech Republic or Hungary .

Individuals residing in the Czech Republic and Hungary may attend the ACN International Convention in Barcelona, Spain, as guests.

ACN wants to protect the integrity of the company and prepare for ACN’s successful launch into these countries in 2011. Therefore, we are prepared to take disciplinary action against ACN Representatives who violate these rules or deny prospective Representatives in these countries from joining if they violate these rules.
